Hi,

I am a fully licensed driver, but I didn't learn to drive until age 25, and now, in my 30s, I'm still a nervous driver. I would like to take some driving lessons specifically to improve my highway driving. Can anyone recommend a great driver school, that would be really positive and encouraging to a nervous adult fully licensed driver?

Or, what should I look for in a driving school?

Thanks

Laura

I am not sure if they are positive or encouraging but I always see Taggarts around this area (Taggarts Driving School > Home). You can find other certified driving schools here: Certified Driver Training Schools - Department of Driver Services.

Laura,

I would fit your experienced but sometimes nervy category!

Last year when I arrived in Atlanta....i had been driving for 13 years but was intimidated by the traffic (I still think it's crazy) but I had a couple of lessons lesson with Alfa driving school. The ga400 fulton (sandy springs) my instructor was dan. It was great for me, a real confidence builder.

Personally, I found having a 3rd party advising really helpful.
