But if he wins - I am totally prepared for him to fall in line with the do-nothing caucus of republicans up in DC. I would have preferred his skillset in the governorship (if Jason Carter wasn't running). I don't think there is any hope for an "outsider" in DC.
How can the caucus of Republicans in DC do anything when they don't have the
majority in the Senate or the Presidency ? Democrats block them in the Senate,
and the Presidency. That's how our government "works". If you expect the
Republicans to be able to do anything, they need a majority in the Senate to
go along with the House, AND eventually will need the Presidency.
Party lines are black and white now. The days of cooperation are over.
People need to choose what side they are on. This isn't like years ago
when "blue dog" Democrats lobbied with Republicans.
I'm not from Georgia, but I'd vote for Perdue. Nunn is not her father,
and the days her father served in are long gone.

Voting for Nunn. We need an independent thinker that will fight for Georgia, not for big business. Perdue rubs me the wrong way personally. I think he's run an ugly dishonest campaign.

It won't be so bad if he won though. Politically, he's a moderate conservative. He's open to revenue, not just spending cuts to fix the budget. He wants abortion available as an option for rare instances. He's not anti common core. He's open to medical marijuana. If Georgia repeals its gay marriage ban, he's not going to fight to reinstate it. He doesn't believe we should deport the undocumented population.

Those are his personal beliefs. I'm inclined to believe he's going to vote like he's beholden to the tea party.

I early voted Friday at Chastain Gym. I voted for Nunn.

The simplest way to put it is Perdue rubs me the wrong way. I'm normally all about the issues and trying to at least determine who is probably lying about what, but frankly, I just don't like him and his commercials grated my nerves so I voted for her.

Shocking! Not really. People mention demographic changes but forget many white suburban areas have gotten more red. Also Koreans aren't as blue as other Asian groups.

Michelle (stance taken?) Nunn
Really? Quote a poll from the end of July?

Looks like the race is a dead heat. Perdue's commercials are so deceiving and intellectually dishonest. That, in and of itself, would decide my vote.

It doesn't seem like nunn has taken a position on anything.... But I guess it's working for her.

Nunn's face is absolutely gargoyle-esque. I hope she loses and crawls back into whatever cave shew flew out of because I really don't want to have to see that hideousness for the next 6 years.

Oh yeah... and her beliefs are backwards.

Have to disagree. Though we really don't know that much about either candidate which is a bit surprising.
