I'm personally not anti-OTP. I own real estate OTP and used to live OTP. I just like living in the city better. I just like being down the street from Lenox and lots of restaurants. It fits my lifestyle better than being in the burbs bc when I was in the burbs, I was always having to drive into the city for my fun so now I get to have everything that I want that I was previously driving into the city for right at my fingertips. I would like to have a huge yard for my toddler to play in and I do have that in the home that I used to live in but, on balance, it has all worked out in the city.

My thing is just, hey, don't put down APS because you have some ideas about your own school district being so select and APS being bad when they are all teaching the same Georgia standards at the end of the day, they all have 20+ kids being served by ONE teacher at the end of the day, etc. Don't put down others. That's my thing.

Even though I live in the city now, I prefer backyards to parks because you can set everything up and leave it there, just like you like it. Also, if you are lazy like me, the backyard is much closer than any park.

BTW, there are homes in the city with 0.5 acre. Some of the old 1950's ranches, for example, in North Buckhead. If an old ranch is anyone's style, they can be purchased in the 4s. Some people actually like older ranches sitting on a lot of land so thought I'd toss that out there.
