Nice. I'd love to see a higher res version of that map and the details on it if anyone finds a copy.

I am glad they are starting almost immediately or at least in the next couple of years on rebuilding the main parking garages. As someone who use the airports long term parking quite often, this is very welcome news.

Imagine tearing down one of those parking decks. Where in heck will folks park while the new deck is being built? I cannot imagine that Park-n-Fly and others can carry the load. Yikes!

I think they were originally going to put detached terminals b/t the fifth runway and the rest of the complex, but it looks like gate expansion will be happening on the east side of the new International terminal. Which makes sense from a standpoint of connections and not having to build a new terminal. But as I understand it, the fifth runway is not used as much as it could be because it is such a long taxi in. Adding a sixth runway will make that an even longer taxi. I guess my point is, the original plan for the separate southern terminal would make better use of the new runway(s).

I bet they can take the parking decks down sections at a time. Maybe they can take out a quarter of the lot and start building the new structure, open it, tear down another piece, repeat.
