I'll be at House in the Park! We go every year, it is really an awesome event. As someone who had never experienced Afro-Beat prior to attending 3 years ago, it's like a whole new and amazing cultural experience. I'd highly recommend people go and enjoy the festival. Typically, we go for a few hours. I only live a little less than 10 minute walk away from the festival in Grant Park, so we come and go depending on our mood.

Nice. The weather will be nice. Last year it was storming outside and it was still packed. I dont even really like house music but every time I go to this event I become more of a fan of it.

I went a few years ago, and I did enjoy the people. but not the music...I am a HOUSE MUSIC FANATIC, but I guess that I like SOUL HOUSE...Afro beat is good, too much of anything aint good. I think I will check out the jerk festival this year. I am Panamanian so I hope to see some representation out there!

This will be my first time going to HITP, so we'll see what it's all about.

I don't like the homophobia that some of the performers have espoused. The ATL prides itself on being a gay mecca and on welcoming and supporting diversity.
