That's the new Manor at Vinings development. Nice houses!

Rcsteiner, where is Stoneybrook zoned (since you are a border community)?
Using the Cobb County School Locator site, my address on Stoneywood Circle is zoned for the following schools: Nickajack, Griffin, Campbell.

Thumbs up Highland Villiage

Highland Village- CAN'T GO WRONG!

I actually helped build the houses. I own the company that painted every house in there. For the price! Quality is over the top. Steam showers down to the elaborate trim details. I do a lot of high end remodeling as well. I will admit I stole a few trim ideas and have not had a complaint. All and all I would prefer the up and coming mobilization of Vinings area. Definitely a money maker in the long run and the area itself is booming!

Drawbacks: Children and that is it. The school systems are not the greatest. Excellent teachers but transient students. If you can't afford private schools all the good ones are close. Also with a first pregnancy going I have realized the importance of registering for the good Day Care in this area early! All are a year out.

Commute: I live very close and love it. Quick commute to with the right traffic veins & short cuts. S.Cobb & Atlanta Rd are both hidden short cuts. I will kill myself if allot of people read this but you can hit all major areas during normal conditions in 15 to 30 minutes. Great for Sales Rep that travel around Atlanta!!!

Anyways I do think it is a good buy. Jason Bonner & Jerry are the two builders and you couldn't get a better bunch of guys! Honest with integrity and willing to give you a little extra for the money! Feel free to call me if you have any questions. I am in the neighbor hood quite a bit.

If you do resort to I-20, I've been very pleased with the commute on there. If you don't HAVE TO get off on the connector, you are golden. And, if you exit on Spring St. or White St., it's an amazing commute. I used to live on the NE side of Atlanta and the commute from there is absolutely horrific.
