that is a nice feature for the new stadium. They should probably let the drunk get a couple at bats too.

I'm just happy it is a home grown company that is headquartered here.

I hope the Falcons can follow that lead.

Wouldn't surprise me if one of the Cobb boosters was actively pushing that though.

According to Atlanta Business Chronicle's Facebook, the naming deal is estimated to be worth $5M a year. "Phillips" Arena is worth $9.1M a year.

Was told by someone who would know that Coke would not be naming any stadium/arena in any city. Ditto for Home Depot.

Wasn't told the reasoning. Just that neither would be naming the Braves or Falcons stadiums.

I am hoping for the new Atlanta stadium to be "Delta ATL Stadium" and be the prominent sponsor on the new MLS jerseys.

Not a bad idea.

After Coke and HD, I figured Suntrust and Delta would be the next calls by both new ATL stadiums. Just depends on how the Delta marketing team strategizes. For whatever reason, some industries (like banks) seem to name a lot of stadiums. Some industries just don't and spend their marketing $$ elsewhere.

I can see both sides.
