Default I need information...

My wife and I have 2 young children and we're planning to buy a townhouse in College Park's Pinetree Trail condominiums. If anyone has information about this community-and we are serious about buying & relocating-please let me know.

Thanks,

Milton & Angelina

P.S.: My wife went to Clark Atlanta and lived in College Park for her last 2 years and knows the area somewhat.

Town homes are easy to buy , but very hard to sell. Depending on the location. Please be careful and do your home work

Not to be rude, but College Park is nothing to write home about. May I ask why you decided on that area? The crime is very present, it's not really asthetically pleasing, and it's near the airport, which can be noisey. It is one of the cheaper suburbs of Atlanta, and I don't know, maybe you're on a budget, or it's all that you're familiar with. I hope you've done a thorough search of the city before you made a decision.

Default Think about when you go to sell

Not that familiar with CP but if you buy there ensure it is close to the market place... the new area that they just built up. If not, you may be asking for trouble when you go to sell...

Most of College Park is the ghetto. Even though it is technically a suburb, the city has very urban, inner-city qualities. You would be very dissappointed with the local schools. The area is VERY high in crime as well. If you are on a budget, there are better places to invest your money to ensure the safety of your family and that your kids get a quality education. I don't know how much home you can afford but some less expensive areas of Atlanta include Conyers, Acworth, Lilburn, and McDounough. All these places are kind of far out suburbs but you would get more for your money and would have a prayer to sell when that time comes. How much are you looking to spend?
