"luxury essentials that embody the modern California lifestyle"

i was super excited for this project, but it looks like PCM may turn out to be more of a playground for the rich than an actual market.

Who do they think lives in the Old Fourth Ward?

I wouldn't have imagined too much crossover between the Phipps crowd and Ponce City Market crowd.

I guess we'll see.

I'd rather have the "playground for the rich" than the empty shell that existed before.

That would be fine assuming they didn't accept any Beltline money. Once you do that, you are obligated to follow the Beltline's commitment to affordability.

Well about time an actual store. This project was getting so much hype but everytime I heard what was moving in there, it was schools and offices. Hopefully more will follow.

I believe that only has to do with housing. Which I think I read PCM already has that set aside.

I expect much of this to be out of my "willing to spend" range, but I hope there are a few food spots and bars that make it a reasonable place to hang out. I have been expecting to pay more at PCM from the get go.
