Most major international airports are already doing it. Dubai was not the first. ATL needs to close the gap.

It's true we don't have an on-concourse hotel, but the Marriott and Springhill Suites that are a 3-minute ride away on the Skytrain are just as good. There are offices there as well and work on the street is a Renaissance Hotel will break ground also.

But all this is beside the point: I want an office district with millions of SF around the airport. Like LAX. Like Dulles. Hell, even like Tampa.
I would like to see it happen.

FYI - I ran across an RFP for a planning consult for Airport Area. I will have to see if I can find it again. It didn't really identify the areas other than "Airport Area" either.
