With Pandora and Shazam, does anybody listen to the radio anymore? I wonder how the radio will survive over the next 10-15 years since the younger generation doesn't listen to the radio anymore.

People listen to good stations. Whatever is considered good. I have already seen people starting to ditch their alternative source to radio now that these stations are here. Plenty of people listen to GOOD radio. I love radio. I'd rather for someone else to entertain me musically instead of having to do that while I'm driving. The trouble for most people is finding a good station. I used to listen to KDAY online from LA daily. They are the originators of this format of radio. To answer your question yes radio can survive of the owners give the people want they want. I doubt that happens for the majority of radio but we will see. The only reason people have given up on radio is because it isn't what is considered good to the listener.

What Pandora? Yeah, love Pandora but the reason I don't listen to it in the car is because I don't want to use up all my data.

Loving Boom, have not listen to OG yet but I will, old school 993 is a little before my time. What is the difference between Boom 102.9 and OG979?

If you like Boom you should like 99.3 because they play the exact same music. OG plays more national classic hip hop with some pop classic hip hop like Vanilla Ice/etc

Hip-Hop and Vanilla Ice should not be mentioned in the same sentence .

(c)Rap music is more like it.
