I heard about that, and I was very surprised. I used to do some subcontracting work for Tony years ago, and he always struck me as a nice man and a good businessman.
I expected this housing market to weed out some of the builders that don't have the resources to weather the storm, but the ones that are in trouble aren't the ones I expected to see fail.

I think he probably over extended on that Towne Lake project- don't remember the name, but you can see it on the west side of 575 between Hwy 92 and the Dupree Rd bridge.
It was a very niche type development- courtyard homes with about 5' between each house. And some other "high-end" goodies.
The houses were definitely over priced for what you got, and the location.
