Default What Are the Best Daycare/Preschools around East Cobb

We're moving from St. Louis to the area later this year. Most likely, we'll be in East Cobb. Does anyone have recommendations of the best daycares/preschools? (Our kids are 3 years old and 10 months old.) The ones I've heard about so far are Creme de la Creme, Primary Prep Academy and Primrose Academy. What do you know about their tutions and reputation? What others should we be looking at? Thanks for your help.

Check out the Goddard (sp?) school. It has an excellent rep as a daycare/preschool. I believe there is one in East Cobb (maybe on the border of Roswell) as a neighbor sends her children there. She has nothing to say but ectremely positive things about it. I habe other friends who have sent thier children there as well.

Kids R Kids on Johnson Ferry Road is NAEYC Accredited and a Georgia Center of Distinction. It is an extended day preschool and more than just a daycare. The owner and Director have both been there more than 10 years, as have many of the teachers. We had our two children attend Kids R Kids and they were well cared for and better prepared for Kindergarten than most all the other kids in their class. The Kindergarten teacher at Sope Creek Elementary said all the children she sees from Kids R Kids are very well prepared (she said that is where she sends her own child). Here is their web site: Kids R Kids Home Page

I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience at Wood Acres (on Johnson Ferry Road just north of Roswell Rd 120). They have normal preschool in the morning with before and after school care I think from 7:00-5:30. All the teachers have been there 15-20+ years and are fabulous!

I have a neighbor who sends her kids to the Kids r Kids on Johnson Ferry Rd just south of Lower Roswell Road and has a positive experience there. I've heard mixed reviews about Creme de la Creme.

I hope you find a good fit for your family.
