Look like the city was afraid of that law suit.

Your information is again wrong.

Here's a 2011 poll. Most Muslim Americans See No Justification for Violence

Kindly stop posting nonsense. The Iraq war killed over 1 million civilians. A lot more were killed by US military action than by terrorism.

I'm sure the city was advised by their lawyer that given no legal basis for the refusal of the permit, they had better approve it.

Nothing in that article is inconsistent with what I have stated. Yes, there have been a lot of deaths in Iraq, but few were caused by Americans.

Your information is again wrong. A sizeable fraction were caused directly from bombings or other military action and the vast majority of the deaths were caused indirectly by Americans given that most of those people would still be alive had we not invaded.

While the council's reversal of their earlier decision to deny is certainly newsworthy, I think the Marietta Daily Journal overplayed the story on Tuesday -- a huge two-deck headline and photos of angry rednecks waving American flags in the name of Christianity?

These people will be old, infirm and dead before long.

The future of Metro Atlanta is a lot more non-white, youthful and moderate to liberal.
