Hi. I'm looking for martial arts (karate maybe but I'm open minded)

However I am trying very hard to avoid places that focus on the following:
Workouts
Forms
Families/children
Sport
Tournaments

I am looking for a place that focus on actual fighting technique for real life.

Is there a place like this?

I currently attend the Atlanta Martial Arts Center in woodstock. Its right off highway 92 so only about 5-10 mins from Roswell and Marietta. They have a lot of different martial arts, none of which are form based. I currently attend Defense lab as well as Civilian tactical which are purely based on real life, and are taught by former police officers, swat members, and military. But it is very low key and not intimidating at all. Unfortunately with arts like Karate you have to start form based. They will let you come in and try a week out if you want. If so and you end up joining let them know I referred you as I would get a referral credit. Last name Kansal

To clarify, I'm simply talking about studios that have you only study forms.

I'll check it out. Is this place doing karate or some other style? Just curious really

Here is their website, they dont have Karate, but Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Defense Lab, Civilian Tactical, Muy Thai Boxing, Kali, Kung Fu, and Combat Submission wrestling.

Honestly in college I had belts in 6 different martial arts, and Karate isnt really "real world" if that is what you are looking for. They all have their faults, but if you really want real world I would look at Defense Lab, Civilian Tactical, or Hapkido. Hapkido is what most of the bouncers I knew at the bars took.
