Default There I was on 400 South bound....

Driving along at 10:30 am on a Thursday and I see this man in the distance coming out of the woods on the North bound side of 400, run across 2 lanes, booking it across the median, then narrowly crossed the south bound lanes of 400 to keep running into the woods. This was just before you get to exit 13 where the hispanic trailer park butts up against 400. I have never seen anything so bizarre. So this is the age of terrorism right? I call Forsyth County Sherrif Dept and regale them with this tale. Could be a runaway suspect, terrorist or.....suddenly the image comes to my mind where i have seen something simular.....Juarez, Mexico.

Anyone else seen this on 400?

You should have stuck your head out the car window and yelled, "INS - FREEZE!" just to see what happened.

I've seen more people walking the interstates in Atlanta than anywhere! Atleast once a day I see a dude walking ACROSS the interstate or on ramps like it is the normal thing to do. I don't get it...

I went to high school right off of 13 and you'd be amazed at how many people cross the highway just so they can drive to school. I had friends (who parked at the Ingles on 13) who told me that it was probably safer to dart across 400 than to try to cross the bridge on 141. I think they're all CRAZY and that's why I took the bus all 4 years of high school, but I digress.

I see people walking around on the highway around there all the time. Especially with all that construction which is scary to try to drive through in the day, people seem to agree with my old friends that it's better to "chance it" across the highway then to try to squeeze across a bridge with no sidewalk. :\
