There isn't much Mexican stuff in the city. Most of the suburbs have a carniceria or two, at least. I live in Roswell and there are a couple of places that sell tamales, although none that I've had have been great. Buford Highway is Atlanta's international corridor. There is a mall called Plaza Fiesta that would probably yield some luck.

Call in and order 12 tamales. (You get a dozen for your standard order). The tamales are good.

Thx Joey. Looks like I'll need to drive out there to place my order for the holidays.
Specifically looking for Beef and orders that come in 12.

Tacos veloz suggested I try Chicago Supermercado.

I've had the tamales from Chicago Supermercado, Gilah G. They're muy bien.

There is excellent Mexican food here, but it is scattered and not concentrated in one area any longer for the most part. There are about 450,00 Mexicans in metro Atlanta, so the real deal is out there!
