Handling a loss is extremely important to a team's chemistry. Winning streaks are great and all, but you can win an NBA championship and still have 12 losses in the playoffs. Here's to the Hawks fine tuning this excellent season into a strong run in the playoffs.

Exciting stuff, and their timing couldn't be better, given how the other Atlanta teams are doing lately.

this week will be a real test, against the Wizards, Warriors(!), and Grizzlies. All playoff bound teams.

This team will take some L's before the break but we really just need to stay healthy. The Wiz got handled thoroughly last time so I expect this to be a playoff type of game tonight.

I was just reading an article on spud webb, whatever happened to that guy?? Prior to me moving to ATL the sports stars I remember are Deion Sanders, Spud Webb, Micheal Vick, David Justice, Dominique Wilkins, Chipper Jones, Andre Rison and Hank Aaron. Of that list only 2 hawks and im still not sure if Spud Webb was a big star, just remember liking him in school. Wilkins was a dunk rival of Jordan until Jordan started winning championships. Id like to see the Hawks get up there with the other teams.

Last I checked, Spud was on the Dallas Mavericks broadcast team.

That game was amazing. Philips was packed, the fans were hyped, the players were great, the score was high, and the Hawks got the win.

Please let this be the Finals matchup...

That sums it up nicely Hawks showed they can keep pace with a great offensive team. And they were able to do it despite some questionable foul calls against Horford that kept him on the bench for a big part of the second half.
