It was tough for them. They made some late turnovers & some close shots just didn't fall tonight but they will learn (and get better) from this game.

Here's a great article from Peachtree Hoops: The Myth of Playoff Experience in the East.

Looking forward to the Spurs game in March.
We will be the ones in the black and silver shirts!
Been to plenty of Spurs games in San Antonio and when they played the mavs in Dallas.
Spur fans are diehard hardcore Mutha Effers. maverick fans are fickle.
can't wait to hear and feel the Hawks fan base.

2 recent losses for the hawks. I wonder if beating the warriors took something out of them. I know my warriors are looking pretty exhausted right now after playing the hawks and coming up short.

The All Star break came at the perfect time. They need to heal up BAD, and even the players in the All Star activities will be able to relax a bit. Plus, the next game isn't until next Friday at home. Thabo's perimeter defense is sorely missed.

For those not paying attention. Nashville currently is first in the NHL in points. Nashville, not unlike the Thrashers was almost moved to Canada in the late 2000s. Nashville is praised around the NHL for its strong fan support where Fandom has spread out of the niche hockey community and into broader acceptance in the mainstream local sports community. If it can happen there, it can definitely happen here. I think the Thrashers were given a rough deal and I hope the new Hawks ownership consider acquiring an NHL team as a second tenant to The Bulb.

I guess we need a NHL team to come, suffer a slow painful death, and go, a third time for people to get Georgia isnt a Hockey place...
