And before anyone says I'm being premature, I watch Joe Johnson go colder than a fish on ice during the playoffs for five years here and two years in Brooklyn. It'll happen again.
I hear you. It's just that Frank Kaminsky would look soooo good on this team but I'm just being greedy. The real question is that right now....Kaminsky could be no better than Mike Muscala (who has been playing well since getting PT). They could go for a 2/3 type of player for when Korver sits. Who knows?

Is there a thread for Atlanta sports teams? There should be one for discussing all of the teams and their problems and successes.

I'd like somewhere to ask this question: What is it that makes Atlanta's teams so poor overall?? I understood the Braves to be an excellent team at one time. The Falcons have never been anything to write home about, save that one year they went to the Superbowl. None of the hockey teams found success and now the Braves and Falcons seem to be in permanent stagnation. As happy as I am about the Hawks' recent success, I'd rather see the Falcons bring it home. If they can't do that, I'd like them to just not be a joke...

Going to the Super Bowl is not the only measure of a great NFL team. There are several great teams each year and only 2 of them make it to the SB. The Falcons have been great many times in the past 20 years and are not stagnant. The Braves compete for the NL East almost every season, so I wouldn't call that stagnant either.

Try to remember that winning a championship isn't the only measure of success...case in point, Kentucky men's basketball this year 38-1 and did not win it all. They were not a failure of a team just because they lost their last game. It's great to be excited about the Hawks, but there is no need to bash the other Atlanta teams because of it.
