When I was there I liked Lenox best, maybe Northlake the least. Cumberland was good, but it seems to be going downhill for some reason.

I wasn't around to see Cumberland's decline, but with all the development in the area Cumberland mall is on the incline now.

I was there when it first opened. I really liked that mall. But I visited it many years later and it wasn't as nice. Maybe because MARTA started serving the location? Not a fan of Penney's but I was disappointed to see it leave as an anchor store.

Since when did one's 60s and 70s become "old"?

And for those who are not there yet, trust me, you will be before you know it.

Phipps is so easy to get in & out of and there and Belks, Talbots and JJill are good places to hit sales. The downside is that the food court is just Subway, Moes and Johnny rockets. Nordstroms has a nice cafe to sit & eat that's midpriced. I miss Harry Baron's Deli. They had a great turkey sandwich and mastoball soup, plus Harry's big personality. (Twist is where the deli used to be)

Why is it keeping it "fair" to remove Lenox, and the Mall of Georgia? I don't care for Lenox, weird mix of stores, and traffic is horrendous.

What about Phipps?

MARTA (the train) doesn't serve Cumberland Mall, duh. Cumberland Mall started declining as Perimeter started rising, and once the North Georgia Premium Outlets opened, Cumberland really started a nose dive. Cumberland started losing major tenants, and the tenants that remained tended to be third-tier retail, which scared away other major tenants. Then the mall got tired-looking, and there wasn't enough money to "renovate" it significantly.
