I'll bet it happens within two years.

Welcome back, Mr. Corey.

I agree. Even if it was just a portion of the smokestack, I'm more disappointed it wasn't a cylindrical image that wrapped the tower. There are many neat things you could do with that.

I actually know several companies that have done similar installs and I have had my hands on the install of a more complicated LED pixel-mapped control system, but admittedly... it isn't cheap.

It would be awesome for New Years!

Seems like maybe Norcross-based NanoLumens could come up with something...maybe in exchange for some branding for them.

What about authenticity?

We can dress this up with a bunch of fancy-schmancy LED's but we'd be eradicating part of the city's urban fabric in the process.

I don't hate it, and it is indeed visible.

i don't think anybody *hates* it, per se. it was just completely oversold as some kind of game-changing monument atlanta would be known for. it's just a smokestack with a billboard on it.

It's cool but I do think they could have done something with the side instead of just leaving it exposed like that. Someone mentioned it looking like a computer chip. I think if they cover the metal holding it to the tower it would be super cool.

Has it ever shown anything beside the Corey logo?

It looked cooler when it was just a smokestack.
