What your city says about your fashion sense

I know less than nothing about fashion and I've never heard of a Furla bag. But it's encouraging to see the city called out for being unique in this regard.

QUOTE:
Lino said that searches from Chicago and Atlanta "were particularly amusing." She said that "Atlanta is known to be a very fashion-forward town so seeing searches for more trendy items was to be expected—but Furla Candy Bags making the top 5 list was certainly a quirky addition."

"It was unexpected from Atlanta "because the rest of the items were really connected to national trends, without naming a specific designer or brand," but the Furla bag was "one of the only items searched by name across all our localized searches," and it did not show up in any other market outside Atlanta."

At least amongst my peers (I'm a dude)

Dark Jeans or Mountain Khakis, Peter Millar Button Up or Golf Shirt, some kind of expensive outerwear...Patagonia Micro Puff jacket, Barbour Jacket, Barbour Quilted Vest and some Deal Sleds: Cole Haan or Ferragamo loafers, or New Balance 993s

Overall predominant brands that I see more here than others : Barbour (The Buckhead orvis sells more Barbour Jackets than any other place on earth) and Peter Millar

It sure makes me feel better to know that Polyvore has given us the fashion seal of approval.

I am surprised, however, that they didn't mention any places to buy staples like cardigan sweaters and Sansabelt slacks.

Head to the dive bars of Buckhead on Friday or Saturday night for a real fashion show.

Especially the guys with the beige pants and 'Bulldogs' Polo shirts (one size too big).......looking good fellas lol

Summer evenings especially impress when you add in the essential accessories such as white sun visor and sunglasses on string.

Hate watching folks waste their money on high-end fashion. Stick with the basics and save your money for later in life. Those fashions will come and go and your clothes will have to soon be replaced, but your savings will only grow.
