I saw somewhere that Eden's paid for the signal that's been already installed. I imagine the city/state is paying for the Moore's Mill-Marietta intersection signal, which might explain the discrepancy between those two intersections.
That could be true. Not putting a signal at that intersection would create chaos. It's bad enough at our neighborhood...a neighborhood with almost 1000 residents, and a non-signalized, partially-hidden intersection to exit onto Marietta Blvd. I'd say about five cars a year get totaled there. Now, imagine multiple times that many trying to enter.

It wasn't there, or even started, as of yesterday. But hopefully, it's coming soon.

Atlanta should get a signature Mattress Firm on the Beltline with two levels of retail and a sidewalk cafe, apartments on top, and a roof level amusement park. ;-)

Seriously, this development is great for the Moore's Mill area and it should have been done long ago!

I would love to see a flagship Mattress Firm store setup along the Beltline. Would certainly become the new place to be seen.

Drove by the new Publix yesterday for the first time in a while. Looks great, one of the few "Florida styles" that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Still blows me away that a really really dilapidated shopping center sat there for so long

Very glad for you guys. We briefly considered moving to Dupont Commons three years ago, and the lack of a decent grocery store (with strong preference for a Publix) anywhere around there was one of the biggest factors against the area. This should definitely improve your property values and, more importantly, your quality of life.

Does Moores Mill Center really need dozens of Mattress Firm stores? Having too many in the same block in any trade area is overkill for a nationwide mattress store chain.

Like the 2 across from each other on Moreland, in the Mattress District?

Absolutely. We want to stay in the same area, and use the proceeds from our increased value to buy something else, but everything else in the area will be higher-priced by then as well! But, as it stands, we will be able to walk to three new mixed use developments in about a year if they all materialize.

You know, I've repeatedly seen the jokes about Mattress Firms, and just thought it was some silly thing. I didn't realize that there are actually two Mattress Firms across from each other! It's like we're in Boston with Dunkin Donuts or Seattle with Starbucks!
