If the hotel was connected to the underground plane train, there could be check-in and security at the hotel, and hotel visitors could go straight from the hotel to their gate. That would be a really valuable perk for the hotel. Just an idea.

The airport could use another hotel, although that is a terrible design. I'm guessing that is just conceptual.

The plane train is inside the security zone.

Unless I'm mistaken, the proposed location for this project is located directly west of the MARTA station end of the terminal & will be entirely in Clayton County or mostly so.
If that is the case, I am delighted to have yet another new development go up in Clayton.
There is definitely positive momentum underway in Clayton County.

I think you are right. It looks like it will be about right on the boundary, but still in Clayton.

Isn't anything within the Boundaries of HJIA considered City of Atlanta though?

The airport is owned by the city of Atlanta, but only a small part (the site of the old pre 1970s terminals on the north side of the airport) are technically inside the Atlanta city limits. Most of the current terminal is in College Park (Which is in Fulton and Clayton) with the rest of the airport in unincorporated Clayton.
