How on earth have you been "betrayed"...really? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? Honestly...it sounds ridiculous, but we know that moving to Cobb to you approximates evil incarnate. We get it.

Being a fan of a team has nothing to do with location. I live in GA, yet I am as hardcore of a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots as I was when I lived in MA. In fact, I may be more hardcore, going to road games here in Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte, Indy.

That is not the case in Arlington. That is why they are the Dallas Cowboys but Cobb still has the Cobb Braves.
Trust me Arlington is way less Dallas then Cobb is Atlanta.

DFW divides into metro divisions.. Dallas–Plano–Irving and Fort Worth-Arlington

Plus Arlington is 379,000 people. Fort Worth is 792,000

Also Texas rangers isn't Dallas team it's DFW team. The Cowboys however is basically Dallas team in Arlington. It was chosen because it's between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Meanwhile Cobb is straight up Atlanta. The region is Atlanta.

I have mixed views on this. On one hand, I do wish that they had stayed in in-town and developed around TF and surrounding or just relocated elsewhere in-town. What's done is done though.

Now....I do like how the capacity of the ballpark lower than 50k. I think that 39 or 40k would have been better though. The name is trash but that's minor (they should have named it Candler Stadium or Candler Field). It's still in the metro, so that's good.
