I went around Camp-Creek to do some christmas shopping and they demolish at least 200+ acres and I'm trying to figure out what they are building there.....so if anyone knows, keep me posted.

Could be Camp Creek Marketplace expanding to attract new development like the one below.

(Atlanta, GA – Mar. 3, 2014) Duke Realty Corp. (Duke Realty) has signed a 256,600-square-foot, build-to-suit (BTS) lease and a 657,200-square-foot lease extension with Dick’s Sporting Goods at Camp Creek Business Center in East Point, Ga. Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest sporting goods retailer in the United States, currently occupies the entire distribution building at 3909 North Commerce Drive at Camp Creek Business Center, a 2.6-million-square-foot business park located three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Duke Realty will complete the distribution center expansion, which will include relocation and expansion of trailer parking, in the fourth quarter of 2014. With the long-term lease extension and expansion, Dick’s Sporting Goods will occupy a total of 913,800 square feet of space at Camp Creek Business Center. Landlord representation was provided by Wes Hardy, Vice President at Duke Realty. Paul Roeser and Kris Bjorson of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Dick’s Sporting Goods.

“Dick’s Sporting Goods’ election to expand its regional distribution center at Camp Creek Business Center is exceptional news for Duke Realty and the City of East Point,” said Chris Brown, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s Southeast Region. “We’re very pleased to be able to partner with this quality retailer to accommodate their ongoing growth and supply chain optimization.”

Behind BJs is going to be residential.

Dicks and the Duke Commercial Space is across Camp Creek on the other side.

Just great, more ignorant comments. I bet Sandy Springs is more scary than the Camp Creek area.
