I'm not a bbq expert, but I really like vinegar based bbq pork. Where is the best Carolina style bbq in Atlanta?

I think you'd be very happy with Pig N Chick's pulled pork. If I'm not mistaken, one of the sauces they offer is vinegar based. There are three metro area locations - Roswell Road, Peachtree Industrial Blvd and Briarcliff Road. It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but I think you'll become a fan if you give it a try.

atlanta is not really a barbecue city. that's not to say that there aren't great barbecue restaurants around— it's just that they're all "imported" from other areas of the south. it's not like the rest of the south where you have a specific style for the city and region, with a specific method of cooking and a unique sauce. most places in atlanta offer a sort of "sampler" of other regions, with many different types of sauces and cooking methods. so while it is very popular around here because atlanta is the largest city in the south, barbecue is not really "native" to atlanta. you probably won't find a barbecue restaurant with that unique carolina style, but you will likely find restaurants that offer the sauce among an array of options.
