We're thinking about going Christmas night. Hopefully it won't be too crowded then.

We will be there then and I expect it will be crowded. Have been before though and it is great fun. If is crowded, skip the smores -- expensive and a lot of trouble. (If it isn't crowded, then ignore my advice.)

I went a week or two ago and enjoyed it. It was my first visit to the Botanical Garden and I felt like slapping myself for not going before. It's a treasure. My favorite part was the orchid room. I felt like I was in paradise.

I went a few weeks ago before it got so cold at night. The lights were wonderful, and the conservatory was really neat with the lighting and the frogs singing.

When I was there I just knew that the frog sounds were a recording. They were so loud and numerous I didn't see how they could be real. I'm pleased to say that I was wrong.

That was one of the coolest things, I could easily close my eyes and imagine myself in the tropics.

The entrance to the deck of Piedmont can get really backed up at times. It's sometimes much easier to get in and out via the Monroe entrance to the deck.

I went and it was a lot of fun. If you buy your tickets ahead of time online, you can skip the ticket line and just show your smart phone at the entrance to get in.

Also, surprisingly, "Holiday in the Park" at Six Flags was really great too. The lights were as impressive as the Botanical Gardens.
