But it is still after the fact.

The only "gripies" highway builders will have with this is that they want even more money. That does not count next to complaints of Atlanta Hotels that will see a huge tax increase with little to no benefit for them.

The bill is a good thing for the state. And the recent bond referendum passing is a good thing for the city of Atlanta to address the backlog of poor infrastructure. While I'd liked for the state bill to include more for transit, it's a step in the right direction.
