Baltimore isn't the south, it's on that threshold line thats sometimes referred to as the south but any one who has been there knows better so I can't really compair it to Atlanta. I don't think Nashville downtown is bad at all, has grown by leaps and bounds and still growing.

I agree Baltimore is considered both by some. The history of the city is very southern and today it resembles more with the north. Both characteristics are found in Baltimore especially in its architecture and monuments. For example, Disneyland’s famous Haunted Mansion attraction can pass in an themed area known as New Orleans Square. In reality it was inspired by The Shipley-Lydecker House built in Baltimore in 1803 below.
