My mom's been raving about this place ever since she went to Dallas. I'm personally excited for it and will try to go sometime this month.

I don't know if Brunswick in Roswell can compete with this and Stars and Strikes. Andrettis will have some good competition here also.

Time for them to step their game up. It's a new era in the metro area. Subpar venues are not going to cut it anymore

Ugh, I hope we don't get saturated in Cobb, causing something to close: Dave and Busters, Whirly Ball/Laser tag (Delk Rd) and US Play (town center), and a bunch of Brunswick Zones. For kids, there's a Chuck E Cheeses in Cumberland.

Is Main Event different enough that it'll complement what we already have?

Competition is good. I think this place it bigger than all the places you mentioned

I guess it'll be another thing for Braves families to do while waiting for traffic to clear out.

Absolutely, Net.

The Cumberland area is seriously underserved in the birthday party/entertainment market. In just the last 2 months, we've had 4 BD parties at the Sandy Springs Stars/Strikes, which is about a 30 min drive in Sat traffic up Roswell Rd. And these are all Smyrna families.

Chuckie is a nightmare, and generally only for 4 yo and under. Catch Air in Sandy Springs is ok, but mostly for the under 5 yo set. SkyZones are awesome, but nowhere near Cumberland.

As long as management/execution is good, Main Event in the Cumberland area will be a HUGE success.

I went to one near Ft Worth a couple years ago. I enjoyed it. And they had a deal on laser tag that was a lot of fun.
