The difference being that the grandparent/World War 2 generation actually created something to pass down. Civil Rights Act, Voting Rights Act, Medicare/Medicaid/40 hour work week with overtime, the Eisenhower Interstate System, Social Security, the internet and so much more.

Babyboomers are idiots.

They squandered everything and gave it up to the corporations.

Why stop at the city of Atlanta or Dekalb County.
Why ignore Gwinnet?

Seems to me you "truth" is very selective.....

And LaVista Park, Toco Hills, Druid Hills, Medlock, Laurel Ridge, Northlake....none of those are run down impoverished areas.

You really don't know the area, do you? Moreland is the boundary between the counties. Candler Park is on the east side of Moreland in DeKalb County.

No. Toco Hills is in unincorporated DeKalb. Maybe you are confused-Toco Hills is the area near the intersections of N. Druid Hills, La Vista and Clairmont. Druid Hills is all in DeKalb, although some parts are in city of Atlanta and some is in city of Decatur.

Read somewhere a couple of years ago the legislature was going to try to include some incentives (not sure what that would be).

It would be pretty tough to do politically. But maybe some citizens in those counties get fed up with taxes and propose it themselves.

Zip codes don't mean much. Cumberland has an Atlanta zip code, as do areas in perimeter center.
