I've been scouting around for info about Georgia's free lottery-funded Pre-K program, specifically in North Fulton. I'm mainly interested in finding out if it's difficult to get a spot if you're not too picky about the location-- I understand the spots in the public schools fill up faster than the spots with private providers? As long as you stay on top of the deadlines for registering and you're open to a few different locations, are you likely to snag a spot somewhere?

We are in APS PreK this year. On your application you put a first, second and third choice.
In my opinion your chances are very good to get a spot in one of those three. I know the deadline is coming up shortly if it is not too late already to enter your child.

Thanks! This year is not an issue, my child isn't old enough for Pre-K yet, but we're planning a move to the area and wondering if we can count on not having to pay for Pre-K when the time comes.
