I work in pharma research and am considering moving back to Atlanta (or somewhere else in the South...but for now Atlanta).

I lived in Atlanta before...spent about 7 years at Emory but in a research coordinator role that didn't pay as much as I was hoping to make at the time. My question is what is the pharma market like there now? In terms of jobs in clinical trials/medical research? When I lived there before, positions for people in this field were pretty much limited to hospital research coordinator positions unless you could land a clinical research associate (field monitor) position that's home based and didn't matter where you lived.

Just trying to get a feel for what the market is like and if its good enough for me to consider moving back there and still be able to remain in a position in this type of industry.
