Can you wear your own lounge clothes in the common area or do you have to wear their outfits? I don't like clothes strangers have sweat in no matter how many times they have been washed. Can I wear my own things?

I've never been but those are saunas. They each supposedly have different healing properties.

This place looks cool. I'll have to check it out when I'm in Atlanta again. I agree about not wanting to wear other people's clothes. Yikes!!

Wait...so is a hip bath the lady-parts steam clean that Gwyneth Paltrow made famous a couple of weeks ago?

Ladeef,

Have you been there? How come they won't let you wear your own clothes? Are they concerned that if synthetic fibers get in the air they will disrupt the "healing powers" or something?

Lol. Yes, and it gives it a "nice, healthy glow".

Never mind. I have received an unsatisfying answer from a patron. Apparently they feel its more relaxing if everyone looks the same. Different clothes can be distracting for people with sauna ADHD.

I went to one of these.. If you are modest, do not go. For one thing to enter the steam and bath spa areas you must be fully nude.. not even a towel. I was not aware of this fact before I paid to enter so was not able to use one of the main features of the sauna. For the rest of the areas you have to wear some weird pajama looking outfit, looks like a hospital gown. They do not fit well if you are tall. You could go to a nice gym or day spa and pay less money and get a better experience and keep your modesty. The only thing these places offer different are these hot saunas.. (The igloo looking rooms),, one had a crystal roof, the other clay, etc. To me they were just too overwhelmingly hot and I did not see any difference over a dry Finnish sauna. This seems to be more geared to Asians (Koreans) and they do not seem to have an issue with the public nudity and wearing the same pajamas. But just not my cup of tea
