Interesting factoid about Ratchesky: he runs a private equity fund, MHR. The fund wasn't huge by Wall Street standards, but they did purchase the film maker Lionsgate. Lionsgate made it big with the Hunger Games movies. Hence, Mr. Ratchesky can now afford to buy an NBA team. Nice fellow.

I thought some portion of the ownership of Philips Arena was part of the deal of whoever buys the Hawks. If so, it is pointless to even speculate.

I think it's just the operating rights (which is still very lucrative).

Honestly, I think all three of our teams are going to be located in the right place. Including the Hawks, who are gonna stay right there in Philips where they belong.
