So, we're still going to have the reversible lane from Hurt to (roughly) the Boulevard bridge?

That won't cause any confusion.

According to the current proposal the reversible lanes will still be present from Hurt St west to Jackson St.

An example of the type of street we need in Atlanta. Dedicated transit lane (I realize the MARTA line parallels Dekalb) and truly separated bike lanes. Couldn't they just expand the sidewalk that's on the side of the train and make it into a combo bike lane/sidewalk? I've often wondered why we couldn't have more combined bikelane/sidewalks since so many sidewalks in Atlanta are underutilized.

It's illegal for cyclists to be on sidewalks, but PATHs are different and cost more than bike lanes. Sidewalks make great transportation corridors if they are maintained, safe, and connect nodes of activity.

Yes, I understand that. That doesn't change my opinion that taking the center lane away without replacing it with a dedicated turn lane would be a bad move.
