Good move by the house imo...

The so-called "Sunday brunch" bill, which passed 121-47, would expand the starting time for on-premises consumption of alcoholic beverages on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.
After crunching the numbers, the Georgia Restaurant Association projects those additional two hours would generate $100 million a year for the approximately 4,000 restaurants that would qualify under the bill," said Rep. Brett Harrell, R-Snellville, the measure's chief sponsor.

Sounds good. But I wonder what it takes for a restaurant to "qualify"?

Cmon Senate make this happen. I am too lazy to make an egg much less a cocktail before noon. Then I can go out for "second brunch"/dunch later.

The sad thing is now my fave brunch cocktail spots with ...ahem... fast clocks will have huge waits even before noon ? Ugh. Gotta keep my "sweet spot" : too late for screaming messy kids and too early for the hungover hordes willing to wait 30 mins for a biscuit.

Nobody is stopping you from having it. Christians need to stop forcing their will on others. It is not your religious freedom to decide what freedoms the rest of us have.
