It would be great if we could get three Cy Young winners on the pitching staff again.

Not a huge baseball fan, but as an outsider, I can't imagine this is doing any favors for the Braves' fanbase. I've heard a lot of people say this is better for the future of the Braves, which may be true. But after the ill will created by this move, for some folks, it will help solidify the negative feelings towards the Braves.

Kinda sounds like they are not going to put much into the last couple of years at the Ted and build up for their move out of Atlanta. May be a good strategy in the long run.

The Kimbrel deal was a good one, in my opinion. I never thought the team could afford the luxury of an eight-figure relief pitcher in the first place and was surprised when Frank Wren signed him to the big extension. You certainly aren't going to need ten million dollars sitting in the bullpen the next couple years, and anything beyond that is pie-in-the-sky for a closer in today's game.

Still sore about Heyward, though, because he's a 25-year-old everyday player. I'd like to think they wouldn't have dealt him if they'd have been able to do this trade first (unloading Melvin's $46 million).

Anyway, I'll still be watching and cheering them on. It won't be the first or the last rebuild I have to endure as a sports fan.

These "true Braves fans" have been unbearable. And quite honestly, it's strange that grown men can get so attached to a 25 year old baseball player.
