Clayton County sure has changed over the Years. Used to be nice like 15 to 20 years back.

Yes, Clayton has changed but it's not all just bad news there these days as is popularly presented in forums such as this one.
If it were, I wouldn't be living there.
Case in point.. My subdivision of 60 homes has had 1 breakin in the last 5 years that I'm aware of.

Your right, all of Clayton County isnt bad. But true, every area has its hit and missed spots. Even Marietta, Sandy Springs and even parts of Gwinnet County has a little bit of that Ghetto Burb Mentality.

Default What about Decatur?

Decatur is the worst.

Roving bands of book lovers blocking off the streets.

Would you want this to happen to your child?

Then every year some kooks pour sand on the street so no one can get by and insist they're having a "beach party". Check out the picture of the rioters.

There have been so many beer drinkers wandering around the police couldn't arrest them all, so they had to block off the streets and make a virtual beer ghetto.

Can a ghetto get any worst than what has happened to Decatur?

I wouldn't totally classify Austell as a "ghetto burb," but it lacks any appeal IMO. It seems like it's close to going downhill and looks the worst of all the Cobb communities I've seen.
