Had a great time at the Malcolm X Festival, only to find that the radio and other things had been ripped from my vehicle upon return.

So sorry to hear that, my car was broken into at our West End neighborhood meeting at the library in Jan, as I left a briefcase in my back seat. I will notify and post this on our neighborhood page and hopefully it will prevent something else from happening. Where did you park at?

Well, glad you had a great time.

Hope the Malcolm XI Festival next year won't involve that kind of unexpected donation to the cause!

Thanks, y'all. It was on Oak St.

I'll always make it to the Malcolm X Festival. "Nothing but death can keep me from it." LOL.

Take MARTA next time...that'll show 'em.

That crap happens all over Atlanta - east, west, north, and south. Sorry it happened to you.

Sorry that this happened to you.

I didn't realize, people were still stealing radio's from cars. Sounds so 90s.

Not to hijack this thread but I also saw on the national ABC news this evening that a MARTA bus was hit by a freight train near Atlanta today. The bus driver got trapped on the tracks at a stop light or something. The passengers had to move it to get off before the train struck it. One woman was hit by the bus as the train scooted it and another was seen limping away. It could have been a disaster. I thought there would be a post about it here but there wasn't. Everyone is aware it happened, right?

Now back to hautemomma's topic... I apologize again for interrupting...

So sorry, hautemomma. It is such a violation to be ripped off like that.

Was the radio an Aftermarket one? Seems the OEM are harder to take out (besides on older cars).
