Entitlement.

Same people who refuse to move over to when you merge or when you are in a turn lane on a 2 lane highway trying to enter and they refuse to move over so you can enter.

Same bad driving habits. Me, me, me...everyone else be damned.

Totally disagree.I lived in New Jersey and there are signs everywhere that tell you "slower traffic keep left".
People abide by this law and you rarely ever see people going slow in the fast lane or just cruising in the lane.

We need these signs in Georgia:

The law is simple. You have several other lanes to ride in if you want to follow the speed limit.

In Germany Germans allow this law all the time. It's only Americans that have trouble following simple rules
I agree but its just some parts of America. This is law in several states.

True.I think its an implied even if its not specified that if passing no ticket will be given. It is the passing lane more than the fast lane.

I'm all in favor of those signs IF they are posted with enforced speed limits.

Otherwise those could just be road-rage-enabling signs.

They should have exempted the metro area from this law because based on the law's wording this law is mostly null and void 60-75% of the time during the day in the metro. Traffic is just too dense most of the day. Unfortunately this existing and the exceptions not being widely publicized will just give aggressive drivers and road ragers validation that what they are doing is good and correct and they will just be more aggressive and more road raged.
