Almost. There is still a small stretch south of Macon that has not been widened to six lanes yet. At least that was the case last year on a road trip FLA.

Thanks, J2rescue. I have to admit I'm a little surprised at this, since they've been working on it for 25 years!

I stopped driving to FL years ago when it once took 8 hours just to get to Valdosta. We only fly down now.

Actually, the stretch in question is north of Macon, between the I-475 split in Monroe County and roughly Arkwright Rd. (just short of I-16).

The only area where CSA's really work is the Bay Area.

That's your opinion, but the number of new residents in Miami, Fort Lauderdale area says otherwise.

No, it's not just an opinion. While Broward is growing, Dade is not.

You did on the first and second pages,
No, I did not. I didn't mention it in those pages. If I spoke of it, it was in response to other comments.

Uh, that is your opinion....

Per the U.S. Census estimate, Miami-Dade grew 6.6% between 2010 and 2014, so did the city of Miami as well. The numbers don't lie...

It does not count, since most thru tourist traffic uses 475.
