Protected infrastructure like this will encourage more cyclists.

Who wants to step up and fund to move this National Register of Historic Places home?
Quote:
Sadly, one of the buildings slated for demolition is the Dr. Marion Luther Brittain Sr. House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the few surviving residential vestiges of the neighborhood.

While the prime location makes it illogical to maintain the house on the site, demolition would continue a dangerous precedent of losing significant historic structures in the city. But without someone stepping up to relocate the house, its fate seems inevitable.

desire to have an office in a more urban location, prompted the move.
We continue to see the pull of transit accessible, walkable, and mixed use districts win over suburban office parks. Edge cities with transit, like Perimeter Center, will continue to boom as a happy medium.

Are you sure? I thought baseball stadiums were the top thing employers look for. There has even been a "sponsored article" on Atlanta Business Chronical running for months promising that to be the case: SunTrust Park – The Battery will lure top corporate talent to the area

All this interest in giving people lots options to get to their jobs sounds like a lot of crazy talk.

When completed, the 12-story building will house 170,000 square feet of medical office spaces, with Northside Hospital offering primary care offices, cardiology services, urgent care, and the Northside Hospital Imaging Center. The rest will be class-A office space geared toward medical professionals.
