What price range are you looking in? Some developers only work in certain price ranges.

You could find some Pulte subdivisions in your price range in the suburbs

Default I know I sound like a broken record

but please, if you are building or buying new construction, be very leary of subdivisions and complexes that are not near completion. Clark Howard spoke of this the other day -- in down real estate markets even reputable builders will walk away from stuggling projects.

If you must have new, buy one of the last homes to be built in the neighborhood.
