Auburn Gwinnett is ok, growing to fast.
Auburn Barrow is older, native, and not the most welcoming to outsiders. There are some nice developments in the Auburn Gwinnett side all in the Dacula school district.

A very good friend of mine lived in Auburn, it was kind of rural, and didn't seem to be very diverse but her neighbors were really nice. You can get alot of house for your money.
