I guess there must be some thing in their metrics regarding higher populations. Anything in North America in the green zone that does not include New Orleans is seriously askew.

LOL, true but the 3 for 1 specials generally only run from 5 pm to 7 pm unless you're near a college.

So would that include Fat Harry's at St. Charles & Napoleon?

Like I said earlier most of the people including the OP have no idea what they are talking about regarding this subject. I recommend people checking out the places I listed on the previous page if they want a good happy hour because the info that has been given out in this thread is ridiculous.

And the statement Happy Hour is not encouraged in Atlanta is ridiculous. Anyone that has owned or worked in a restaurant that sells alcohol knows that alcohol accounts for at least at a minimum 40% of the total sales in each restaurant on average. If alcohol wasn't encouraged a lot of restaurants would be out of business.
Pretty simple, if it is illegal/disallowed/discouraged, then it's not an excellent scene for Happy Hours. It's just common sense. Bars/restaurants are just getting away with it.

Obviously Happy Hours are not encouraged in Atlanta, it's not legally permitted. Why do you keep denying that? I'm not denying they exist, it's just not the optimal environment for it.

It's kind of like weed. I'm sure you can get some great weed in Atlanta, but since it is illegal, it's not going to be the best in the nation and probably annoying to get. You can still get it, and it is probably good, but nothing like a place where it is legal. The optimal environment for weed and Happy Hours is not in Atlanta.

Our happy hour takes place on our deck. Less expensive drinks and don't have to worry about how to get home. Besides, my wife and pups are the best drinking buddies in the world!

I'm sure Amanda Davis could show us all where to find the best happy hours.
