Smyrna Sprouts (Kennesaw: 2015, organic, price)

For those of you who missed the Grand Opening...




Half the store was a line that day.

Since the Avenues at West Cobb area isn't getting a Sprouts until 2016, I guess I'll be shopping at this one quite a while, even after I move.

I visited the place. It was ok. Certainly a step up from a standard grocery store but folks need to remember it's not "a cheaper Whole Foods" - they are they're own thing. The selection of Organic products is good overall, but not everything is natural/organic. There's still plenty of "regular stuff" on the shelves, so if you're really into all-natural, make sure and read the labels and price tags carefully. Getting out (if you want a light) to go Westbound is bleh, but doable cutting through a parking lot at the gas station next door.

No doubt it will continue to do well though, and once West Cobb opens it will, too. Side note - to my knowledge the Whole Foods is still scheduled to open in a new shopping center at the corner of Barrett Parkway and Highway 41 in Kennesaw, but not everyone around there is thrilled with the idea traffic wise.
