Very nice, and long overdue. I hope those 18 long buses turn out to be the first 18--several routes need them.

Does MARTA have statistics on which bus routes are the busiest and least busy?

Yes, the data is available. I saw a book with the data at an event at Five Points last year.

More than likely, the Peachtree Rd, Buford Highway, Candler Rd, and Greenbiar would be the busiest.

It would be 20million of so records a month. I'm Sure they have every scan record going back to when BreezeCards started Safely off in some SQL database somewhere.

if marta cant drive regular buss & streetcars., what makes u think its drivers can drive extra long ones.

I'll give you the buses (which mainly is the fault of tight corners on tiny, traffic-filled streets), but MARTA doesn't operate the streetcar.
